Big 5 Ways to Keep Things Sizzling Hot!
A couple that plays together stays together. There are many things you can and should be doing within the relationship. Maybe some you already do but not so much lately. Maybe some you'd never thought of or tried before now. Here are 5 things you can easily do with your partner to help keep the relationship alive and cooking.
1. Cook together
Let's face facts. Most men don't know their way around the kitchen—except to find the frig! The one thing they may do is grill, and while that's all good, I'm talking about more than simply firing up the charcoals. Take a look at Food Network and guys like Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence, Guy Fieri, and Michael Symon. These are men who have shown us how 'regular guys' with a love of food can make a little magic of their own rattling some pots and pans. They have made it cool for men to cook. Now Pat and Gina Neely have their own show. This happily married couple whips up all kinds of good eats in the kitchen together. The Neelys own bbq restaurants in Tennessee and have taken Food Network by storm. They are the perfect example of how cooking with your partner strengthens the bond and is lots of fun, too. Set aside a day when nobody has to work. Plan the menu ahead of time. Make it something that isn't too complicated and you can make a success. Go on www.foodnetwork.com for some ideas if you're stuck. Shop together for all the ingredients you'll need. Go into the kitchen together. Slice, dice, chop, mix, bake, boil, fry, stir and make it happen. Once you do it, make it a regular ritual in your household. Make cooking together something both of you can look forward to sharing.
