Coming Sunday May 3rd, I'll be attending an event for an organization close to my heart. Blooming Place for Kids is dedicated to improving the lives of neglected and abused kids ages 8 to 15. My good friend, Jan Horn, Co-Founder and Executive Director, is having her Crazy Hat Luncheon and Fashion Show to raise money and awareness on behalf of the cause. I will be wearing a fun hat, but not too crazy. I'm happy, too, to donate a copy of my book and pzpower cap as part of the festivities. This has been a rough time for charities and organizations. Blooming Place for Kids needs support to meet their goals and the needs of the kids. Anyone interested in giving a donation, large or small, and being part of enriching children can always go to http://www.bloomingplaceforkids.org/. Every little bit helps. And as Jan would say,"No effort on behalf of children is ever wasted."

Interview with Joshua Allen from So You Think You Can Dance

Los Angeles, CA

Joshua Allen, winner of So You Think You Can Dance.

Hey Everybody, I'm back from hiatus and raring to go. I've got so many wonderful projects in the works and 2009 is shaping up to be a promising year. For all you dance aficionados you'll be thrilled to know I'm headed to LA this month to interview the phenomenally talented Joshua Allen. Joshua won the title of America's Favorite Dancer on season 4's So You Think You Can Dance and is their current reigning champion. In case you're wondering why Joshua, I can only say, from the moment I discovered his audition I knew. This is one, very special guy. Talk about embody my message? Joshua does. He's so much more than dancing. I'm teaming up with LA's gifted photographer, Cory Sorensen, and can't wait to bring you the story.
