I am older and experimenting. Should I keep my life a secret?

Dear Pz,
I've recently ended a 10 yr relationship. I'm successful in work, both kids are grown, and I am happy with myself and appearance. Now I very much enjoy my sexuality, and see this moment in time as an opportunity to explore. Everything feels right for me, but as a single older woman would I look foolish engaging in situations that may seem common to people who are younger than I? And if not, should I keep this other lifestyle a secret from people who may judge me?
Enjoying Life
Dear Single and Enjoying Life,
Having a strong sense of your sexuality is healthy and a plus at any age. As you set out on your quest for discovery, there will be no shortage of willing participants. Sadly, though, the world has changed. Sexually transmitted diseases exist on a wide scale and always pose a potential threat. Not to put a damper on your spirits, but these are issues even you can't ignore. if you feel this is the route you must take, focus your attention on making smart and discriminating choices, rather than worrying about the judgment of others. I think you'll find your exploration will lack the fulfillment you anticipate and be a temporary lark at best.
